Howard County Schools are committed to fostering a safe learning environment for its students. We are seeking a parent volunteer who might be interested in serving on the River Hill Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) Team.
The role of the IEQ team is to ensure indoor environmental quality in all learning and working environments of HCPSS facilities. Members of the team will be expected to perform 2 annual building walk-throughs using the standardized master check-list to identify possible issues or concerns in the school or facility. Additionally, team members will review and address results of the teachers' classroom checklists. Lastly, the team will summarize the classroom checklist and post the results each quarter.
Meetings will be held during the school day so members must be available to convene at that time. Any parent who would like to participate should contact Dr. Saunders at email@example.com.
