Volunteers of the Month

Degui Cao and Jim He are the 1st VP and 2nd VP. They help the president whenever needed. Degui and Jim organized the mock SAT and PSAT tests to help students prepare real tests.

Cari Larkins is the corresponding secretary. Cari worked with the Board to revise the Bylaw this year.

Anu Sayyaparaju and Lynn O'Brien are PTA Council delegates. They attend meetings at PTA Council of Howard County and report back in the monthly PTSABoard meetings.

Iris McCanna is the Giant Bulletin Board committee chair. Iris posts important PTSA and school events to the Giant bulletin board to keep the community informed.

About Us

River Hill High School PTSA, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization. Our mission is:

  • To support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in the community, and before government bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children;
  • To assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children, and;
  • To encourage parent and public involvement in the public schools of this nation.

Membership

Memberships are for one year only and come with many benefits through the National PTA's Member Benefit Provider Program.

Your memberships and donations help us provide student scholarships, staff appreciation events, student assemblies, the Post Prom Party, SAT preparation classes, classroom support, academic recognition, and much more.

In the Spotlight

The River Hill High School PTSA Board of Directors approved the 2016 - 2017 budget during the 10/10 board meeting.

As usual, the top three areas that the PTSA is funding are Post Prom Party, staff appreciation, and student support.

Thanks to all PTSA members for your membership dues and generous donations. Your support helps us providing programs to support the school community.
