Volunteer of the Month
Krishna Kalluri is the Student Directory committee chair. Krishna prepared and formatted directory data, printed, sorted, and distributed directories to RHHS families. Thank you Krishna!
Anne Elixhauser and Michelle Kloss are webmasters. Anne and Michelle update the PTSA website on a regular basis including news, events, programs, online payments and class registrations. Thank you Anne and Michelle!
Hui Li and Camilla Cornwell are the PTA Reflections committee chairs. They advertised and ran a successful Reflections art contest program. Some RHHS students have won the contest at the county level and have moved on to the state level. Thank you Hui and Camilla!

River Hill High School PTSA, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization. Our mission is:
- To support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in the community, and before government bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children;
- To assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children, and;
- To encourage parent and public involvement in the public schools of this nation.
Memberships are for one year only and come with many benefits through the National PTA's Member Benefit Provider Program.

In the Spotlight
The River Hill High School PTSA Board of Directors approved the 2016 - 2017 budget during the 10/10 board meeting.
As usual, the top three areas that the PTSA is funding are Post Prom Party, staff appreciation, and student support.

Post Prom Party
This fun event is held right after the prom each year to provide students a safe alternative to house parties.
SAT Prep Class
SAT prep classes are offered several times throughout the year to help students prepare for the exam.
The PTSA organizes parent programs including raising teens, college applications, technologies, and more.
